Our mission is to remove this barrier by providing free access to sports balls through our sports ball library. In addition, we also aim to improve the overall condition and cleanliness of community parks by executing net renewals and park cleanups.

Regular cleaning

Assuming weekly cleaning at a cost of $10 per month, the annual cost for regular cleaning would be approximately $120.

Net replacements: Depending on the quality of the nets, replacement costs could range from $25 to $200 per net. Assuming a replacement every two years at a cost of $100 per net, the annual cost for net replacements would be approximately $50.

Replacement basketballs: The cost of replacement basketballs will depend on the quantity and quality of the basketballs purchased. Assuming a replacement of five basketballs per year at a cost of $30 per basketball, the annual cost for replacement basketballs would be approximately $150.

Each Park’s initial start cost is $120 and the monthly maintenance cost should be $60.

  • Organize volunteers to manage the sports ball libraries and ensure that the balls are properly maintained and cleaned.

  • Develop partnerships with local sports organizations and coaches to provide access to equipment and resources for those who want to learn more about a specific sport.

  • Host community events, such as sports clinics and tournaments, to engage people and promote the use of the sports ball libraries.

  • Execute net renewals for park sports facilities, including tennis and basketball courts, to ensure that they are in good condition and safe to use.

  • Organize park cleanups to improve the overall cleanliness of the community parks and make them more inviting for sports activities.
